Restrooms and showers were warm and clean, host was friendly and helpful. Site was clean and as described. Campground is close to Highway 58, so be prepared to listen to traffic.

The wilderness Road Campground was clean and well maintained. The toilets and showers were also clean, and the warm water in the showers was GREAT! Fresh water was just that, clear and odor-free. The personnel there, the camp host and the rangers were personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone - we will go back.

nice campground. The visitor center has a museum with a lot of interesting historical information and 2 movies. Stopping there prior to hiking the trails made our hiking much more meaningful and interesting.

This is a very nice campground. There are many hiking trails in the area and a nice visitor center.a few miles, away. The campground is heavily wooded and most campsites have shade. You'll need leveling blocks as most campsites are not very level. Site F11 was my first site. It does not have much level usable ground.
