The brakes on our Motorhome got hot and we needed to park it outside the campground before having it towed for repair. We talked to a Park employee and he was great to help us find a repair facility and they assured me that it would be alright where it was until the next day. We wanted to stay in the campground and observed it to be clean and set up well for campers.

The campground was beautiful. Our entire site had leaves raked away from the asphalt, firepit and picnic table. This made it very easy to see where to back in our trailer. We had site B-17 and a 21' trailer, even though the site was a bit slanted, there were no issues backing in and setting up. The bathrooms were heated and very clean. Easy access to Cumberland Gap trails along with trails around the campground to hike. Water fill up and dumping were laid out well. We would definitely stay here in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The bath houses are clean and in very good condition. The sites are generally well placed and organized. You WILL need to bring leveling blocks or something. Some of the sites are fairly level, but many are very much on a slant and would be impossible for me to sleep without leveling. They are far enough apart that you cannot overhear neighbors speaking at a normal conversational tone, but if they are calling to each other from one side of camper to the other you will hear them quite well. That being said, during my stay I did not have any complaints about noise even with neighbors on all sides. Very pleasant place to camp and not far from several nice restaurants.

Park was clean and quiet. Hiking was plentiful and the perfect level of challenging. Ranger Stormy was so kind and helped us make a site change without a problem. We will definitely be back!

The campground is well run by nice people. It is very close to Cumberland Gap and all you can do there. We took the pinnacle road to the top and stood on the state line between Virginia and Kentucky. We also took a short walk on the wilderness trail. Some people hiked from the campground over to Cumberland gap over the trail. There are short trails in the campground also. Clean place.

We stayed at site C2 in a 33 ft. Super C. The pad was level and extra wide so spacious and plenty of room for our chairs. The fire pit and pic table were on the wrong side for us to be able to use but other than that, the campground was quiet, clean, plenty of dumpsters for trash. We enjoyed watching the Cedar Waxwings out of our dinette window. The hiking trails were easy to access from the campground.
