It was excellent. A nice quiet campground in December. Too bad the wood for sale was locked and the nearest bathroom was locked. Trails are nice but more signage would help since the trail network is complex near the campground. I could not click on 5 stars — that page did not work.

Parked our Class C overnight at the campground. Very well maintained site; no leaves even. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of bathhouse as well.

Fall and winter are great times to go. I was one of only a handful of campers in the entire park.
I really enjoyed my time here and absolutely will return.
Site B20 was a bit tricky to get into because it points in the wrong direction. Other than that, it was a great site. Clean and level.

Wilderness Road Campground is one of the better campgrounds I’ve visited. Location is great with miles of hiking trails available in the campground or within a short drive. The campground is very clean and facilities are clean with showers and comfort stations (restrooms). They also have a few very nice handicap sites also close to the comfort stations and set up with grills picnic tables and cement sidewalks.
They have electric at most sites , water hydrants throughout and a dump station. Group sites tents sites. A very nice picnic area and an amphitheater what is top notch! Open year round.

Always a tranquil pleasant stay. No water or sewer at sights, but you know that when you reserve a spot. Shower rooms are clean and highly functional! Rangers and hosts are friendly and helpful.

I love this place for my quiet, peaceful getaways! There are always open sites for tent camping, and lots of mature tree cover at every campsite. Clean restrooms with super spacious and completely private showers in a separate building. The staff are tremendous--helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly without being intrusive.
