Don’t park under the Mocker Nut Tree at camp site 24 especially in the fall. Those suckers are loud bouncing off a Class C camper roof. Everything else about the campground, the lake, the area is Awesome, beautiful, quite, accommodating!

The site we were on dropped mocker nuts on us frequently and they made a very loud nose on the roof.

First of all we love Salthouse Branch camping!!! However not having the internet was very difficult because of working from home/camper during COVID-19.
Also the yellow jackets were awful this past visit and fleas were in the grass from the dogs there!
Not really sure how to keep them from barking constantly but would be nice to be able to get a full night's sleep without being kept awake from them barking. We noticed that some of the campers didn't adhere to the 10:00-6:00 quite time. Something needs to be put in place regarding poop bags for dog waste also!

From the gate attendants to the other campers, everyone got along and no one bothered anyone else. Everyone watched out for everyone!!
