Old Virginia Group Horse Camp provides group equestrian camping just minutes from a large network of horse trails in the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area. Old Virginia is a secluded, picturesque campground that can accommodate up to 25 guests and 25 horses. great little group campsite..
The upper site needs leveling a little and some gravel..
The sites to the right need building up some,its very wet during the spring and when it rains...
other then that its great, quiet and secluded...

Great private primitive camping for you and your group. Very clean large porta potty’s , trash bin and designated place for manure so you can keep the grounds clean. Bring water containers to get water from local campground Raccoon Branch for horses. This camp has a small stream but would recommend hauling water in.
In all a great place to camp.

Would be nice if they put the Picnic tables back where u can use them..put some gravel on the tie out spots ..used to be real nice not kept up
