Lovely camping area with swimming and easy to moderate walking & hiking trails accessible by foot. Bathrooms/shower facilities have recently been updated and were well-cleaned. Excellent base camp for those interested in trying the nearby Devil's Marbleyard hike/scramble or visiting the Natural Bridge.

The campsite I chose was spectacular. It had plenty of shade and was very clean. The park's common areas were also spotless. I really loved this park!

The site was perfect, the bathroom house was clean and well stocked. It was a great place to stay and we enjoyed out 9 days there.

The Taylor Hollow Fire was ~11 miles from the campsite, the aqi was unhealthy, and the canadian wildfire smoke added to the local only 60% contained fire. I was refused a refund. I had a 3 and a 6 year old with me, who while champion campers can't reliably wear a mask sleeping or enjoying the lake. Enjoy the 48 bucks, but I'll be darned if I ever give the great state of virginia another dollar. I cannot believe I even had to ask, in Michigan they refunded everyone without question. Embarrassing for the commonwealth.

Very clean spacious campsites. Easy access to great hiking trails such as the Apple Orchard Falls and Devils Marble Yard natural bridge is just a few miles drive away.
