We have been going to CML for many years and always have a great experience. The host was super nice. I was only surprised that there was no fire wood available to chop.

Cave Mountain Lake Family Camp offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with clean facilities, spacious campsites, and friendly hosts. The campground features well-maintained restrooms and showers, a nice swimming area, and easy access to hiking trails. While there is no cell service or camp store, the overall experience is highly praised, making it a favorite destination for families.

Excellent visit. the bathrooms / showers were very clean, and the camp hosts were friendly. Easy in / out with our 27' Airstream trailer. Close to Natural Bridge, this part of the Jefferson National Forest offers great hiking and star gazing.

One of my favorite places. Just perfect- perfect size, layout. Very well maintained- even under current strained resources. Person who checked us in was so helpful. Campground host assisted us with charging a dead car battery.

We enjoyed our stay. The hike that leaves from by the lake in the day use area was perfect for our family.

We really liked this campsite. The group site had plenty of room for three separate tents, including an 18 x 10. There’s a bathroom very close by which was great for the kids. We had tons of privacy from the other sites. We will come back here again.

Wonderful rustic campground. Space between sites, wooded shady sites. Safe swimming area. Although there are no hookups, this is my go to, at least once a month.
