Shenandoah Acres Family Campground

Been goin to the Acres since I was kid. It definitely what it used to be but it’s nice to get away from everything that is regular everyday Boo-S***. Take the evening with my better half and go to the camp ground, watch her dance and smile. If that ain’t your thing, there’s always the pool, the lake, the fishin’ pond, the playgrounds, the whatever the bounce thing is called, or play cornhole and drink all weekend….. NICE

So we thought it was a real beach but the kids had fun. The chi ken wings, fried pickles and the ice cream was excellent. We will go again.

They are in the process of making improvements throughout the park. But all in all, a very nice place to stay

Overall this is a beautiful campground. Lots to do, and see. However the map is very deceptive. We picked a tent site that looked out of the way, but it’s right on the road and there is NON STOP traffic (within the campground) Golf carts, big loud trucks, campers, at All hours of the day, even after quiet hours. Quiet hours are 11pm-7am. How are kids supposed to sleep when there is loud music and concerts happening until late in evening? Disappointed with where the tent sites are. Very loud traffic all day. We would love to come back, but we can’t with how loud it is.

Me and my family had a great time here. We will definitely re visit in the future . It was quick to get in . The staff was nice. . We had a nice area to grill out and enjoy the place. Swimming was so much fun lots of space for the little ones . And an area for the great swimmers ( deep end ) great price too !
