What Guests Are Saying
Raccoon Branch Campground offers a welcoming atmosphere with clean facilities and well-maintained sites, making it a great stop for travelers. It features beautiful hiking trails and a peaceful environment, especially appreciated in the fall. However, some sites are not level, and there's noticeable highway noise, with limited amenities like no showers and minimal host presence.

We had a great experience while camping at Racoon National Campground. The hosts were very helpful in every aspect of the trip. We only wished there had been showers available.

We stayed in spot #9, which I selected because of it's proximity to the creek, this worked out great! The faint rush of water passed into someone else's dream as we were whisked off to sleep.
I prefer campsites with just a little bit more privacy, and the occasional sound of road noise were why I didn't rate this campground 5stars. Still recommend this place. Nice hiking trails as well to Dickey's Knob and beyond.
