Loved this campground! It's close to DC but secluded enough to feel like you are further, closer to the Shenandoah mountains. The campground was also really nice and clean with a super friendly host. We will be coming back for sure.

Great spot. The host was helpful and welcoming. I loved the heated bath house and hot showers. That was especially nice on a November morning.

It is one of those rare areas that offers the best nature experience despite being close to the city. Although it has a relatively young forest, it offers quite nice camping areas and various tracks. Our autumn camp was lovely. We will go again in the spring.

Beautiful Campsite! Sink clogged at the bath house for washing dishes but wasn't a game changer. make sure to bring plenty of wood or a hacksaw for the fallen dead wood. Will be coming back!
