What Guests Are Saying
Turkey Run Ridge Group offers an excellent camping experience with spacious, well-maintained sites, great fire rings, and convenient heated bathrooms with hot water. The friendly staff and well-kept hiking trails enhance the overall experience, making it ideal for scout troops and families. Some minor issues, like bright lights and unannounced water shut-offs, were noted, but these did not significantly detract from the enjoyment of the park.

Great group site. Camped during spring and enjoyed mostly clear camping area, great fire rings, plenty of space and nearby hiking options.

We don't go camping very often, but this experience was great so we might start doing it more! Camped in April during our Spring Break, so not crowded at all. The site had multiple areas to set up tents on level surfaces. Bathrooms were conveniently located, heated, and had hot water. The visitor center staff was friendly and helpful, and the hiking trails were well kept. We had an enjoyable experience.

Bathrooms were great, but the lights from the overflow lot need to be turned down, they were too bright to even begin to adjust to the darkness. They shouldnt be that tall, throwing that much light, or that blue. Maybe if they were amber or red it'd be more okay, but the bright blue lights were detrimental to the experience.

It's an absolutely great park, the group campsites are excellent, and the staff was superb when we were doing on line planning.
My issue: We got there and found out all the water faucets and fountains had been turned off for winter and this was never mentioned on the website. We had a soft water bag that we could fill in the bathroom sink, but other troops hard hard bottles and were just out of luck.
I went to the visitor center to see if there were alternate fill points, like a custodian's sink and was told there were none.
Since our visit was part of a bike ride, this could have been a trip ender w/o the lucky foresight of the water bag.
It should have been on the website.

Felt like we had the whole park to our selves, probably because it's the middle of winter. The campground was great and near running water and heated restrooms was a bonus. He had a great 5 mile hike before setting up camp. Would recommend to any scout troop for winter camping.

Great space, deep in the forest, multiple fir pits for cooking and camp fires, clean flushing toilets. Can’t wait to come back.

Camped here with my son's Scout troop and it was awesome even though temps were very cold. It is a very good facility with ample room and accommodations
