Awesome overnight midweek trip to site C12. Overall very happy with the site but did find that it had a slight slope to the whole site. It meant setting up my tent closer to the road than I initially wanted too, but it was the flattest spot I could find. I think in the future I will try another site on the other side of. the loop, maybe be flatter ground.
One thing I did dislike was that the fire ring is located in the middle of the site which makes enjoying a fire a little difficult due to placement. I had to move the very heavy picnic table to make a line of sight to my tent area because of the placement due to the slope.
Love the campground. Very quite and I did have great cellular service with AT&T. Also found the restroom very well maintained. I will be back!

Chose C-17, Tent only loop. Excellent hike in site. Somewhat far from water and bathroom. It takes at least 15 minutes to reach site along Scenic Drive due to one way flow. Visitor center is nice. I recommend this campground.

Campground has lots of great sites. Most very nicely wooded with plenty of cover. Facilities are very clean and well kept. The whole park is wonderful. I stay yearly and it’s always great.

First time camping out there, it was a great experience. The site comes with an awesome fire pit that converts into a grill, & lantern post.

Great place to camp. It took awhile to get to the campground from the park entrance but worth it. The site was clean, quiet, and sufficient size for our new SUV and car-tent. All employees we met were friendly and professional. The only downside to our night was enduring the unexpected rain closed up in our hot vehicle with a dog terrified of storms. We left with a list of what to do differently in the future and would definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.
