Lovely forest setting, nice restrooms. Disappointing they don’t have water to top off the RV tank, even though there’s a faucet at the visitor center.

Well-maintained campground, with clean bathrooms. Only drawback: No firewood for sale in the park, because of COVID, we were told.

Very nice campground in a great park. The campground had very nice sites for tent camping, most of them within the trees so there was a fair degree of privacy. Nice fire pit and picnic table at each site, with bathroom facilities in short walking distance. Hiking & biking trails were accessible. Also of note, the Park's visitor center had orienteering maps & compasses to loan out - the course was well-maintained with multiple courses for different ability levels. Very nice overall!

The camp sites were good and the bathrooms were excellent. However, we intentionally chose a site to be close to the bathrooms and utility sink, but the utility sink was closed so we had to use one in a different area that was much further away and rather inconvenient. Be aware that Quantico is nearby and it is common to hear aircraft and weapons being fired.

Such a wonderful camp ground! 100% family friendly and would recommend bringing approved fire wood for the stay. Fire pits are wonderful and the sites are well kept. Can’t wait for our next adventure!

This is a rather small campground that is almost empty on weekdays (in October, anyway). It is charming with the sound of running water all around and easy to negotiate hike/walks connecting nearby. It looks like a great place to fish--if you are into that. Cellular connection, however, is non-existent. I couldn't even get the weather on my Zoleo (satellite access), so be prepared for this.
