A well maintained campground with plenty of privacy, shade from the trees, fire pits, places to string up a hammock! Had a great fire, easy access to restrooms, didn't see any showers. Brought in approve firewood from the nearby 7-11. Had a great day of hiking the next morning on multiple trails!

I really enjoyed my stay at Oak Ridge, although I had to cut it short by one day due to the wildfire smoke from the Canada wildfires. It was peaceful, the sites were all well-maintained, the welcome center and rangers were really helpful, and the bathhouses were super clean. I hope I have a chance to stay at this campground again.

The camp site 2 or 3 sites over from us were drinking, playing loud music, and yelling loudly until at least 2AM. Neither park rangers nor the camp hosts came by to tell them to quiet down. Besides the troublesome neighbors, the site itself was good. Plenty of room to set up 2 tents and a hammock. For some reason there was a 1' deep hole near the end of the table that we kept tripping over.

The grounds were very well kept, the setting beautiful. The campsites were for the most part nicely spread out away from each other. But even with a 20-ft travel trailer, with tow vehicle 37 ft, the majority of sites are far too small. Now I understand why they have a number of auxiliary parking lots, because many sites would require you to disconnect your travel trailer and not park on your spot. Of course you can always cheat a bit by backing up your travel trailer axle and then hang over the concrete barrier at the end of the driveway, but not always. I was forced to move temporarily to a campsite until the next morning when I had to rebook to an entirely different campsite. But again, proximity to surrounding venues, the setting, the peace and quiet, and the care that had been given to keeping the campground in good condition all make it an experience that I will return to have, now that I have driven all three Camp Loops to pick out ones that will fit me.
