Picnic table at Site A26 was moved away from the pole with hangings before we arrived. It was too heavy to move back to the pole.

I like how close Oak Ridge is to DC. It makes it an easy weekend trip that still allows me to escape the city. The campsite is pretty normal. The spaces are a little tight, but we went Friday night, so there weren’t as many people there.

A great spot to get out of the city but without having to do hours of travel. Every campsite we have used has been excellent and the campsite and park maps are true to form -- so if shows two sites close together or two sites further apart you can know it is right!

We we're in camp sit A37. Great lactation. Only one drawback. The restrooms ate about 200 ft from the campsite. They use a very bright light on the building that might disturb some people.

We stayed in a couple of the extended family sites and it was very nice. Peaceful and beautiful. Somewhat buggy some days, but it’s a forest and we expected that. We went on a couple of hikes, and the kids caught some small fish in the pond and creek. We were the only trailer in the campground. Not many sites can fit an RV, but we are small (23 ft) and fit fine in site 23. No hookups or place to fill tanks with water, so we filled and dumped at the Prince William Forest RV park. Would definitely come again.

Had a great time, the restrooms were very clean and there was access to clean water on site. Will be coming back again!
