Very disappointed in how management at North Bay Shore Campground handled concerns about alleged meth use around children and families on the property. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, they chose to remove the person who spoke up — someone actively rebuilding her life through sobriety after surviving domestic violence. That response speaks volumes.

Nice little camping spot - great bathrooms compared to most other campgrounds. I camped at one of the tent sites. They are possibly the closest tent sites I've ever seen together, you'll be *very* friendly with your neighbors. If you're alright with that or if you go when there isn't many other campers it'll be fine. I'd recommend booking #62 or #72 since they're on the end, that way you only have 1 neighbor. Tent sites are right on the canal with easy boat/kayak ramp access. I wouldn't bring a tent bigger than a 6 person because there's not much room depending on your vehicle size and other gear you bring. I had a roof top tent so didn't have any issues. Bathrooms are heated, well ventilated, have decent sized showers, and are pretty clean. Lady at the main office was extremely nice. I'd come back here again for sure (just not on a busy weekend because I don't like being that close to people).

We went during the week and ended up staying two days after only intending to stay one. This was our first ever camping trip. And we fully enjoyed it. Our tent leaked because it rained on us but we didn't care. It was lovely. The scenery. The peaceful, beautiful outdoors left us feeling rejuvinated, and ready to plan our next camping trip. We were in camping spot 42. Right next to the water. We went fishing. We grilled meat. They also have free wifi. Which is a bonus. The people were friendly and super nice to us first timers. They have all types of camping spots. So if you are in an RV, a camper, or a tent like we had you can stay at North Bay Shore Camp Ground. They have s swimming pool, and recreation room. I don't know how else to say it was really nice. Don't hesitate to book a camping trip at North Bay Shore. You won't regret it.

This place completely exceeded our expectations—easily one of the best campsites we’ve ever been to! We’re already planning to come back annually. The staff was fantastic and truly takes great care of the campground, which my boyfriend and I really appreciated. They even hosted a fun Fourth of July celebration that made the experience even more special. We absolutely loved this campground!

Very friendly staff. Nice and clean campground. There's a few upgrades that would really help, such as making gravel sites near the canal so your not sinking in mud, The pool was nice, it would have been great if there was a bathroom and trash can at the pool. Little kids especially don't want to walk across the campground to use the bathroom. The 11am check out was a bit too early for our liking. We personally feel 12:30-1pm is more realistic. Overall its a great campground and we will probably be back!
