The lake is beautiful and the trails are well marked. The ranger station lady was very helpful and friendly. We will be visiting again!

My family and I had a great time! It was our first time at the campground so I honestly can’t give any negative feedback towards things the were out of our control or the layout as we only were able to go off of past reviews from others. Honestly the bathrooms were perfectly fine, no complaints. The camp hosts make sure each stall is filled with A Lot of rolls of TP so no worries on bringing your own. Also the showers were great! Awesome water pressure plus there is a lower spout that was perfect for showering my toddler. If there was one complaint we had from our camp site #19 is that our picnic table was on the outside of our site border. So, it was inconvenient for our 8 person family because the table was slanted and not leveled like every other camp site where the table was within the site border. We tried lifting the wooden table to move it but it was Heavy plus it rained before we arrived and so that made it heavier. It also rained the night before we left and everything we had left out to dry was wet and muddy, but like I said that was out of our control, so can’t complain about nature. Last thing was that there was very little to no service. My family had T-Mobile but I was the only one with Verizon and I was able to get little service by the lake or send message by satellite. Overall my whole family had a great time and we’d certainly would come back to Bohler Mountain Campground!

Was the calm before the storm of a holiday weekend. A week of peace and quiet. Site 59 is the first site at the entrance to loop 3 on the right. It’s tucked back and has tons of privacy. Had a 23’ travel trailer and a double cab Chevy truck, with plenty of space for a second vehicle. Fire pit is nice and far away so no worries for your awning. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were a bit musty as the camp hosts didn’t want the doors propped open. The water spigot at 59 has leaked all summer, leaving you to either drench the one side of the campsite or finagle the spigot handle in a way so that throwing a towel over it keeps it from spraying. All in all, good trip! As someone who has been coming to this campground for years, the Forest Service really needs to invest in employees who can and will actually fix things.

love it there, but never saw a park ranger this year, the host skiped on cleaning restrooms a couple day, but it was still great to get out in the woods at the lake, been going camping there over 30 years would go in oct if it was open like it use to be!
