What Guests Are Saying
Charbonneau Park and Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, spacious sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular spot for relaxation and outdoor activities, particularly near the river. Many reviews highlight the park's cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere, with some recommending it for RV camping due to limited water hookups. While there are some concerns about understaffing and the need for restroom upgrades, overall, visitors express a strong desire to return and enjoy the park's scenic views and community feel.

Charbonneau Park was a great experience. The sites are nice and it is quiet!! I experienced a lot of earwigs (yuck) at our site, but they kept to themselves!! Lol. The park is also pet friendly!! My husband and I would definitely recommend going there!!

Thanks to our Nuevi (GPS) we found it. We arrived in the dark and there was not enough signage on the roadway. If you don't know were it is, you'll never find it. There is not enough lighting in the park. We had to feel our way around to find the spot we reserved.
Please work on better signs to the park and Lights in the park

The staff that helped me change sites was excellent, she had to spend some time on the computer to get things rearranged!!!

The only issue I have with the website is it does not give any clues as to where the sun is hottest mid-day for each site and if you don't have air-conditioning, you could find your campsite is really uninhabitable at peak summer temperatures. Otherwise we found the staff helpful, the sites were clean and everything went as expected.

Our RV group loves Charbonneau Park. We are sad it will be closed all next season for upgrades. We shall look forward to 2023.

Trash cans need to be put back in park. Mowing of all areas should be done on main park. Insects and snakes will be in the tall grass by July. Hosts were great. Sorry to see it closed next year. A lot of trees need to be delimbed and some trees removed.

Very disappointed in the appearance of the park. My site was extremely dry very little green grass. Picnic table area was not weeded. In the two weeks I was there, my site was not watered at all. Water was off in the park on one of the days. It is very inconvenient to have to drag your garbage down to the dumpsters.
