Our visit to Hood was enjoyable as always. The weather had cooled somewhat but even so the abundant shade was appreciated. T grounds were clean and well kept as always. Views of the river and river activities are plentiful. Playground equipment is well located.

Nice, clean, respectful, and the right amount of shade. There is a ton of rules, but it sure does keep a nice and safe campground. Prefer this over other parking lots for sure, but not over displaced camping in the woods. Great spot for the kids to play and the benches were nice for a cooking area. We even had room for corn hole! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well.

We were there just for 1 night. The site has all amenities we needed. Showers has hot water.
Watched the sunset.
It was a busy campground but not noisy at all. We will be back again.

The camp hosts were awesome! So understanding when our friends’ motorhome had issues the morning we were leaving. Allowed them to stay a lil beyond the noon checkout time until he could get the problem resolved. Place was clean and easy to back into with our trailer. Definitely will be back! ☺️

Park is nice. Boat ramp needs some repairs. Be wary of electrical box and wasps. Some sites do not have gravel for tents or picnic tables or have fire pits.

Just lovely and a big thank you to the camp hosts who answered every question and let us know about the sprinklers.
Easy to keep our tents within the dry perimeter. Take your own ice.
