What Guests Are Saying
Panther Creek Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with spacious, private sites and easy access to hiking trails and the beautiful creek. Many visitors enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, although some experienced noisy logging trucks early in the morning. While there were a few issues, such as a lack of water signage and fire bans, the friendly camp host and scenic surroundings make it a popular choice for campers seeking a serene outdoor experience.

I had space 11 with little to no traffic and lots of privacy. There are many varieties of trees and vegetation. It is lush. The creek is beautiful.

Panther Creek is a beautiful, serene campground. The sites are spacious and set so you have plenty of space between yourself and other campsites. A number of hiking trails lead down to the creek as well as across the campground still leaving plenty of privacy. I'll definitely be back;

Beautiful secluded site. BBQ pits were the best I’ve seen. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, and the most adorable creek.

Pleasant stay. Quiet. Clean bathrooms. Note that site 13 has a slightly raised platform/bed for tents that barely fit two tents (1 two-person and 1 three-person). Wood bundles in May '26 were $10/each.

First camping trip here and overall we enjoyed it. The creek was beautiful, the forest was stunning, and there was easy access to hiking trails, including connections to the Pacific Crest Trail. The sites felt immersed in nature and there was plenty of wildlife to observe.
A few things to know: some tent pads were quite rocky, which made staking difficult. We also found that supplies (firewood, etc.) were limited and communication about availability was inconsistent. If you’re tent camping, consider bringing sturdier stakes than those included with budget tents.
The setting itself was gorgeous and peaceful. We’d return, but next time we’d come better prepared.

We were in route from out of state to Panther Creek when we received a email notice that the campground would be closed during our reservation period to perform emergency tree removal.

Used a 10x10 pop-up canopy with net over the picnic table to keep the mosquitos away. Very little going on here during the weekday. Never saw the camp host but they may have showed up at the beginning of the weekend when I left. Lots of animal running around.

No service, which is fine just good to know up front. Beautiful area. Didn’t see any hiking trails nearby so we just walked our dog around the campground. We only stayed one night on the way home from a longer trip, but it was lovely and quiet.
