Great campground, great host but level tent sites not on the pavement weren't available. Specific tent platforms would be a huge benefit.

Most of the spaces are not really meant for trailers. I stayed in #19 with a 23' travel trailer. I barely fit and I ran out of jack and blocking and couldn't get it leveled. You're ok if you get one of the 3 spots closest to the water but everything else is tight and steep.

Nice setting, but the campground sites are way too small for most campers and boats, and most of the sites are sloping, not flat.
It is time to re-build the Porcupine Bay Campground, to make it useable.

I love that this campground ramains open in the winter, however, I will not longer be staying here after Jan 1st 2025 when summer rates become the permanant rates. We were the only ones in the campground. I think the rate change will be a losing prospect since an empty campground makes no extra money.

Love this place but the yellow jackets were awful!!! Couldn’t enjoy any time outside our trailer. They attached us, our dog. It was awful. Traps hung everywhere but not rebaited. I got stung and another family member. Also water levels were so low no beach or swim area. Should be on the website.

Take State Highway 2 west of Spokane for 32 miles. Turn north on State Highway 25 at the town of Davenport and travel 12 miles. Take a right on Porcupine Bay Rd. Follow the road about 7 miles to the campground.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- This campground requires reservations; no first come first served sites are available.
- Guests must bring their confirmation and display it upon arrival at the campground.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Utilities
- No hookups are available; a dump/fill station fee applies.
- Flush toilets and water are available seasonally from May 1 to September 30, weather permitting.
Pets
- Pets are permitted but must be kept restrained at all times.
- Livestock are not allowed.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are not permitted.
- Off-road parking is prohibited; please use designated areas only.
Local regulations
- Using metal detectors and collecting artifacts is prohibited.
Safety & rules
- Generator usage is not permitted during Quiet Hours.
Fires & fuel
- Fires are allowed in designated fire rings unless fire danger is critical.
- Do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent pest spread.
