Although the campgrounds were beautiful, most if not all the campsites were on a pitch, which made tent camping ridiculously impossible! We also suffered into the 1st night with a camper about 100 ft. away who was very loud and loquacious. We decamped after that night, even though we had reservations for 2 more. I won't return.

We love camping at Porcupine Bay! We go a couple times a year and have been for years. Rick and Cheri are the best! They go above and beyond to make everything go smoothly. This last trip in particular our camper fridge went out and he gave us a cooler to borrow. Last year our truck battery died and he had a portable jump to charge us and get us on our way. Reserving now as been wonderful as well.

The camp hosts are awesome!! Personable, helpful and so nice. Look forward to seeing them next trip. We do 2 Lake Roosevelt week long trips a year, for 26 years now. Keller or Porcupine. The water was warm, the weather was great. The dog barking non stop night/day from the camper, next to the lower bathrooms, was a bit annoying when you are trying to get away from that at home. His dog was worse this year than last, lol. Luckily we were out on the boats mostly. Hopefully there will be more catchin next trip than Fishing, busy weekends. Still had a great time, love this campground !! :) See ya in September!!

Been going there for over 20 years absolutely love it down there. And as usual Rick the camp host was very friendly and helpful always making his rounds and visiting with everyone and making sure everything is ok. Camp ground was very clean as well as the restrooms. One thing noticed restroom lights are extremely bright.

The hosts were great! My first time pulling a large trailer, and Rick was very helpful on explaining on how to get backed into the spot! They were very accommodating!

Take State Highway 2 west of Spokane for 32 miles. Turn north on State Highway 25 at the town of Davenport and travel 12 miles. Take a right on Porcupine Bay Rd. Follow the road about 7 miles to the campground.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- This campground requires reservations; no first come first served sites are available.
- Guests must bring their confirmation and display it upon arrival at the campground.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Utilities
- No hookups are available; a dump/fill station fee applies.
- Flush toilets and water are available seasonally from May 1 to September 30, weather permitting.
Pets
- Pets are permitted but must be kept restrained at all times.
- Livestock are not allowed.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are not permitted.
- Off-road parking is prohibited; please use designated areas only.
Local regulations
- Using metal detectors and collecting artifacts is prohibited.
Safety & rules
- Generator usage is not permitted during Quiet Hours.
Fires & fuel
- Fires are allowed in designated fire rings unless fire danger is critical.
- Do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent pest spread.
