But it was so steep that we could not park our truck camper there.
Had to move to another site.
The photos do not tell the story about how steep some of these campsites really are.
Add information to the Recreation.gov website about steep slopes!!!

Very dirty- dogs allowed to run on beaches with no regard for small children - feces everywhere. Immense amount of garbage such as cigarettes beer tops candy wrappers etc. what’s the point of a camp host if the place is allowed to fall apart? it’s very noisy with the amount of people who beach their boat and compete with the other boats stereos. Don’t bother getting a site looking on to the lake because just use your campsite to play frisbee and walk thru or your stuck listening to the stereo battle… this used to be such a lovely family oriented place- no more

We had neighbors who played loud country music for 8 hours. We complained and were told they didn't have to turn it off until 10pm. We all had headaches and had a hard time even having a conversation due to the music volume. Beautiful place but I won't be back. Not relaxing and inconsiderate neighbors.

Take State Highway 2 west of Spokane for 32 miles. Turn north on State Highway 25 at the town of Davenport and travel 12 miles. Take a right on Porcupine Bay Rd. Follow the road about 7 miles to the campground.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- This campground requires reservations; no first come first served sites are available.
- Guests must bring their confirmation and display it upon arrival at the campground.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Utilities
- No hookups are available; a dump/fill station fee applies.
- Flush toilets and water are available seasonally from May 1 to September 30, weather permitting.
Pets
- Pets are permitted but must be kept restrained at all times.
- Livestock are not allowed.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are not permitted.
- Off-road parking is prohibited; please use designated areas only.
Local regulations
- Using metal detectors and collecting artifacts is prohibited.
Safety & rules
- Generator usage is not permitted during Quiet Hours.
Fires & fuel
- Fires are allowed in designated fire rings unless fire danger is critical.
- Do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent pest spread.

- Weekly Boat Launch Permits must be purchased online before your trip; annual permits are available in person.
