What Guests Are Saying
Kachess campground offers a beautiful, scenic environment with spacious and private campsites, making it a popular choice for many visitors. Numerous reviews praise the cleanliness of the campground and the friendliness of the staff, along with access to hiking trails and the lake. However, some concerns were raised about sanitation issues in the vault toilets, low lake water levels, and a lack of enforcement of campfire bans, which detracted from the overall experience for some campers.

Beautiful location with privacy at each campsite. The lake was beautiful to sit near and swim in. Lots of people paddle boarding and dirt biking. Plenty of hiking trails nearby.

Camp host was notified of a campfire (during stage 2 ban) directly across the road, and the decided to go back to sleep. Only after multiple attempts and taking matters into my own hands was it handled.
Lake was really low, boat launch closed. And campground was super packed, with folks camping in non-sites. Poor management.

We stayed one night on our way from Spokane to the Olympic Peninsula. Campground was clean, host kept to themselves, it wasn't very busy due to being a weekday. It was first week of August and the lake was down quite aways, steep banks and pretty muddy.

Beautiful campground. The lake was a highlight to spend the day with the kids. Great just walking around the whole campground. We clicked just over 3 miles walking through each loop.

The place is amazing and except for the bathrooms and the people who manage it are not friendly, I am Latino and unfortunately the people who were camping near me were annoying elderly people who went to yell at me and make fun of me, maybe it was just bad luck but I will not return it will be my last option to camp again

We camped in the group site. While the toilet paper was replenished daily in the vault toilet, the space was never cleaned.
