This may be the BEST site in the whole campground!! Big space (we easily parked a van and a car in the parking space) and is right along the river. There's a grassy area behind the picnic table to put a couple tents and hammocks too. Its a bit more secluded from other sites but still a close walk to the bathroom. We saw a bunch of elk near the front of the campground and enjoyed playing in the river. Close to the visitor center and those hikes.

Lovely Campground with proximity to the Hoh river. Only point to consider and prepare for is mosquitoes, there were so many at dusk and dawn. Beautiful ferns, mosses, and trees. Did not get to see much wildlife though.

The camp site was grass and therefore very comfortable for tent camping. The trails were well maintained and easy walking. We arrived early afternoon and only had to wait 10 minutes to enter.

The short trails in the campground area were perfect for us. Gorgeous trees. A herd of elk wandered through our campsite early in the morning. They were not a threat!
I recommend the Hall of Mosses trail and the Spruce trail to the river. Easy hikes for senior citizens..... (haha I hate to admit that)
Restrooms were very clean.
Campsites are not large. Lots of ferns and greenery made each campsite almost like its own private area.

Ideal camping spot with river access! Beautiful, level, private. Bring your bug spray.
Walking distance to Hall of Mosses and Spruce Nature Trail.
