Lovely campground. Lots of wildlife. 38a was great for a camper but would be bummed if we were in a tent because it’s very open ( no privacy like other spots).

Campground: Beautiful grounds and provides an immersive experience in the Hoh rainforest. Sites are a short walk to the visitor center and hiking trailheads, bathroom facilities are in good condition, camp hosts are friendly and nice, firewood is available for purchase, all sites come with a sturdy picnic table and fire ring. Our only complaint was the lack of showers and soap in the bathrooms.
Spot #52: Amazing spot overall for tent camping - I personally felt like it was one of the best. Beautiful lush greenery provides lots of privacy. Very close to the bathroom which was super convenient as well as the trail to the visitor center. The driveway was curved so probably wouldn't work well for a large camper.
Would definitely recommend this campground and specifically this spot to others!

I would have given it five stars but people were bathing themselves in the drinking water. The Rangers really need to put signs near the potable water that say no bathing. I saw multiple people washing their armpits and rinsing with the drinking water spouts with their washcloths inches from the nozzle. 10 out of 10 would not drink the water here. It's weird because there's actually sinks with running water inside the bathrooms so I'm not sure why people choose to use the drinking water but I would really encourage the park to put up signs.

The camping site is nice, but this particular spot didn't have much space. However, I still enjoyed everything. The restrooms are clean and conveniently located. Unfortunately or fortunately, there's no cell service at all.
