The Hoh is a beautiful place and a must see. The deep, heavily wooded rainforest paired with a meandering river is a site to behold. So many beautiful spots to just take it all in.
I was also able to hike to one of the most gorgeous Washington beaches. It was breathtaking.

Great site, lots of open space! But site is not amongst the trees

Plan on a 2 hour plus wait to get past gate entrance, even if you have a camping reservation. One lane only and one car in only after a car leaves
Trails are ok… no focus to education on trail
No campground rangers
Overall terrible facility

Stayed three nights in loop A. Peaceful pleasant camping with six year old. She enjoyed the trails, river, and especially the junior ranger program. The rangers were so attentive to her questions. Very impressed with the rangers’ ability to relate to children.

Some camp sites have small footprints for larger family tents. Junior ranger program at the National Park is excellent, there is a second one for Ocean Stewart Program as well which is a patch-perfect for scouts! Recommend the 8:00 pm program with the ranger as well lots of fun.
