What Guests Are Saying
The Hoh Rainforest Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Campers enjoyed the spacious sites, easy access to hiking trails, and educational ranger programs, which enhanced their experience. However, many noted issues with the lack of running water in restrooms and long wait times to enter the park, which could detract from the overall experience.

Get to the campgrounds/area either super early or late in the day. Otherwise you will be standing in a line to the entrance and it can take hours. This place fills up. The hikes can be very short or long. There's options but the main hike is less than 2 mi and get's you a good idea of the rainforest flora and fauna there. Though like the parking, can get full and crowded. We were there during a light rain which was fun and added to the "rainforest" vibes.

Very quiet campground with shady private sites and clean bathrooms.

Nice campground in beautiful surroundings. At night it was silent except for the sound of the river. We got one night with clear sky’s and the stars were wonderful!
Site 14 was very large, there was plenty of space for a large tent. A short trail leads from the site to the river. This site was also reasonably private. Other sites in loop A had much less privacy.
Main bathrooms did not have a working sink, although you could get water and wash your hands from a spigot on the outside of the building. This was a little annoying and I would 100% give 5 stars if it was fixed.

The site worked great for our needs to skip to arrive at Hall of Mosses bright and early ahead of the big crowds.

Beautiful site with good bathrooms. The B loop seemed to be private, with good space and vegetation between sites.

Location great, campsite okay (does not have a level flat surface for a tent), bathroom poor (no running water for drinking or washing hands)

This site is quite large but there’s only one good level space to put a tent in the back of the site, the rest is too uneven and rocky for sleeping. I would suggest it for a small/medium tent. I had a 2 person tent that fit perfectly on the patch. Since the space is a pull through it would also be good for small trailers. There are trees but none spaced properly for a hammock. The table was a large concrete one that cannot be moved placed near the fire pit. There is enough room between the neighboring sites that you feel like you have your own space. The site is right across the path for the restrooms which is nice. That is also where the water spigots are with a nice area to clean dishes. This site is the 2nd to last in the loop so it’s only a short walk to the dumpsters and info board.

The bathrooms were easily accessible and loved that the lights were auto on and off. The rainforest was absolutely stunning and loved hiking the hall of mosses.
