What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers beautiful sites near the ocean, providing convenient access to iconic beaches and popular destinations like the Tree of Life and Quinault Rainforest. The campground features clean bathrooms, drinking water stations, and is well-serviced, making it a great choice for families. While some loops are closed and noise from Highway 101 can be a concern, the overall location and amenities make for a highly recommended camping experience.

I wish I could’ve stayed here longer. It was right near the ocean and the sites were beautiful. We just car camped, but this location was safe and close to everything we wanted to see.

We came Saturday morning and found a spot for our 20 foot trailer. But by the end of the day all spots were taken. Only one loop is open in February. Toilets are clean. Used our cell phone booster in the car to get internet and pay for the site. A lot of people in the tents, and spots are not big enough for big rig. Walking on the beach was fun.

Location is unbeatable. You get direct, proximal access to popular destinations in Washington. Its close to iconic and popular beaches. Kalaloch Beach is situated right under the campground. A few miles north lies the Tree of Life (beach 4) and Ruby Beach, which is notable for its red-colored sand. If you don’t mind a longer drive head to Hoh and Quinault Rainforests. Both are extremely popular destinations within Olympic NP. Quinault rainforest is home to recordbreaking trees like the World’s Largest Sitka Spruce, and in the same general area sits the Lake Quinault Lodge. Watch out for high winds sometimes. Highly recommend.

Well serviced campground just steps away from the beach. Loops A, B,C are closed right now. Sites are first come first serve for the off season. Bathrooms are very clean and drinking water stations are available. No showers in bathroom. Campsites are very close to Highway 101 but all the other benefits still make this a great choice for camping, even with children (in my opinion)

Nice campground. The only down side is the road passes right next to it and it can be loud at night. Clean bathrooms were nice.
Loved that the kalaloch lodge sold propane (you need to bring your tank and they'll refill it)
