Restrooms were very nice. Sites on the beach do not have much shade and all sites are pretty tight in together.

Our trip in Aug was great. cannot say the same for july 4th weekend. there were fireworks being set off in the campground at one of the sites at the beginning of loop 2. they shot some from the docks how unsafe was that this was done on july 3rd we left on the 4th a day early in case the 4th got out of hand. There was also music past 10. Camp host are needed at least for holiday weekends.

Gifford is one of my new favorite place to camp. I'm not sure why I've never been. It was very clean and quiet during the week. The bathrooms with the flush toilets and running water were a game changer. I can't wait to go back.

Nice campground with flush toilets, outdoor shower, paved spots, water spigot, RV dump/water. Access to and expansive views of lake from most spots. However, many sites are arranged such that they are tight with others and lacking adequate privacy/personal area. Also, noise from the ferry is fairly constant from early to late.
Stayed in site #13 on a Mon in Aug. Nearly empty campground.
