I do not recommend spot #29. The campground was so awesome, we loved it. My kid rode her bike the whole time. a spiquit right by our campsite. The flush toilet bathrooms were nice. The lake was a very close easy walk, and can leave all water tubes, kayak etc out by the lake with no worries unattended. I highly reccommend any spot but not #29, its full sun morning-night and its basically spot #30. Not sure why its set up the way it is. Other than that its very kid friendly.

So fun!! Loved camping here. Rangers can be a bit hostile but otherwise fine. Be sure to bring your own soap though hah.

We were only there one quick night, but the site was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the campground was quiet at night. It was beautiful waking up right off the water, too.

Gifford is pretty packed in tight. However site is spacious and easy to access the water. Its a back in site and is fairly small. Pull through sites looked bigger if you have a trailer and truck. Bathrooms were well kept and clean.

We have been doing our yearly family camp trip to Gifford for a few years now. We love it. Great lake access, boat launch and the views are amazing. Can’t beat the sunsets. The campground is clean and during the week very peaceful. Weekends are pretty crowded as to be expected. We will continue to come back.
