Lovely! Site #019 was a little small for tent camping, but it was more private than I thought it would be. One side of the site has a hill that blocks the view of neighbors and the other side has some woods in between you and the next site. And there are no sites behind you! The pit toilets were clean. And the quiet hours were respected. Lake access is a short drive or a 10 minute walk away. The lake is beautiful. Sandy, sloping access into the water makes it so easy to wade in and swim or launch a kayak. Highly recommend!

Worst camping experience by far. Loud campsite with lots of kids and families around, and very few campsites here are private and isolated. We were shocked by how loud and obnoxious some groups were! The lake was accessible after a 5-10min walk. None of the water taps near us worked, and the nearest one that did was all the way near the camp host. Aaand the host was a 10-15min away, so it was a trek to get that $10 tiny firewood bundle and water. Whenever I visited pit toilet, the lid was up even though the campground asks to lower it — obviously it did not smell good. You’d have to pay me to stay here next time, not the other way around

I enjoy this campground. Typically nice and clean. Usually quiet at night. One of my top campgrounds to return to.

Campsite was ready for us. We spent 4 nights. Did not use the restrooms as we had our own but did notice the host cleaning them every day. The host did make their rounds, but it would have been nice to see them out and about a couple of times a day. It is a large campground, so their time is kept busy. It was a real treat to have the Navy jet planes flying low around the area, exciting. Making reservations were really easy to do. We will return for sure.
