Hunters Campground sits along the northern shoreline of Lake Roosevelt. The facility is popular among hunters and fishermen, but is also comfortable for families. Although there is no view of the lake directly from the campground, a boat launch and beach are located within the facility.
Lake Roosevelt is a 130-mile lake on the Columbia River created by the Grand Coulee Dam. Named after President Franklin D. Roosevelt, it is part of the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area managed by the National Park Service.

Hunters Campground offers a beautiful setting with good amenities such as a boat launch, docks, and a clean swimming area. Many visitors enjoyed the spacious sites that provided privacy and appreciated the helpful campground host. However, some concerns were noted about maintenance, noise from generators, and the need for better site management, particularly regarding tree trimming and waste disposal.
I was a bit disappointed with how close together the sites were. We were in site 11. The view of the lake was amazing at the site, though there's a communal path at the back of the site by the lake that means other campers walk through the open backside of the site. Also, the camp host doesn't sell firewood! So was really difficult getting wood for our campsite. So pick up wood in larger towns before you get to Hunters.

The campsite itself was fairly good, waterfront was nice with a nice little park. The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars is due to the lady camp host. She came around 3 times In the first 30 min with new rules that we where breaking. My boys couldn’t ride their electric bikes because they had plastic that made them look like motorcycles. It really made us uneasy about doing something wrong and took a lot of the freedom of camping away

Pardon the flair for the dramatic but... it is fitting.
First, the site itself was amazing, if a little cluttered with plant debris. Being a more remote campsite, I can't complain about that. The views were beautiful from the shoreline directly adjacent.
HOWEVER...
The male camp host is a complete and utter jerk who has no business dealing with people at all. My first encounter with him during my abbreviated stay was him sicking his two black labs on me (what happened to the leash and restraint rules?) when I argued about fishing near the swim area. There are no posted rules or signs saying it's off limits - but he YELLED at me for it saying it was "his" rule. The female counterpart was a bit on the snooty side but nothing like this man. I spent hundreds last year on campgrounds I found here, but this man needs to go, or I'll never come back.

I was very disapointed that the bathrooms were locked and the fish cleaning station was locked and the camp sites are dirty and weeds growing every were and im disapointed that we pay 23.00 dollars a night for this were is our money going becuase its not clean and no rangers came by . I would like to know who i can call and see if this can be fixed i have been going to hunters camp ground for over 40 years and it just doesnt get better but the cost go up. The good thing is you have a great camp ground host there this year.

The camp host was a very rude and negative person. She does not know how to communicate with people being a host is not a good fit for her I have been going to hunters camp ground for years and if she remains the host I will not recommend anyone or myself to go there! She could do better and needs to do better.
