17 was very private and seems to have more area around the pit. Spots are narrow with placed boulders so they can cause tripping hazards right out your door.

Lots of shade in this campground. Restrooms were clean and the campground host sold firewood. The campground road is paved.
A great base from which to explore Crawford State Park, Riverside Mine Canyon viewpoint, Peewee Falls viewpoint and the Boundary Dam Vista House.

The campsite was beautiful and had a private path directly to the water. Our experience was good, except we had 3 different people, not with us, use the from our tent to the water as a public path back to their campsites. We told one of them it was path to our tent and they said they knew that but they were just going back to their site next to the camp manager.

We had the beach to ourselves the whole time. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The only thing was in the morning. -we were right across from the outhouse -you could smell it, due to no fault of the campground but don’t choose number 11 if possible.
