Bathrooms weren't kept as clean as in the past. Over all it was fun.

We were in site 15 as we have been many times. It is right next to an outdoor toilet that was very “full”. The smell wafted to our campsite the worst but our friends in 12, 13 and 14 also got it. Often it was difficult to sleep or just be in the campsite because of it. The camp hosts were great and kept the washroom clean. I asked if they could put in some lime to cut the smell. They said they weren’t t allowed to use lime because the people that pumped the toilets out didn’t want it used. Asked if they could put something else in to cut the smell. They said they had run out of a product and apparently a new product hadn’t been given to them. It was so bad we actually went to Ione to find a product ourselves but there was nothing available. We have been coming to Sullivan for 39 years and love our time there! I know I’ll never take that site again. Please ensure you equip your camp hosts with the proper supplies!

The campground was lovely as usual, the hosts were helpful and informative. They kept the outhouses clean, however, the outhouses were so badly in need of being pumped that the smell greatly impacted our enjoyment of our vacation. Especially the one across from site 11, the double site. It was hard to eat breakfast and dinner in our camp with the smell of them. I feel there is not enough of our camp fees going towards the upkeep of the parks these days.

Pit toilets were clean but needed pumping. Fire pits had some trash in them. Site was fairly clean.

Primitive campground with water available. Thankfully there was no smoke while we were there.
Fishing wasn’t great and we wish it was stocked.
