What Guests Are Saying
East Sullivan Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Many visitors appreciate the spacious and private campsites, as well as the well-maintained restrooms and excellent swimming lake. I was pretty much the only one in my loop of the park except for one other camper. Host campers weren’t available and there were no rangers around. A couple came around in a golf cart who weren’t very helpful.

It's very beautiful at East Sullivan Campground. Was fairly quiet most of the time. There were deer roaming the campground. And the campground host's were very friendly and did a good job of keeping everything cleaned up.

Had a bit of a setback when we arrived - we found another party set up in our reserved spot. They said the reservation tags were not put out the day before and they booked for 2 nights which included one of our nights. The campground manager was nowhere to be found to help resolve the issue until later that night once we already settled into another site to avoid making the other party move. We caught up with the manager later that night and said we had the conflict figured out, but never saw the manager again throughout the rest of our 3 night stay.
The rest of our visit was wonderful and we love staying there.
Better communication and reservation notification to other campers would be an improvement in the future. Consistent campground manger presence would also be beneficial.

we stayed in site 9. i do not recommend this site. we could smell the outhouses very strongly, especially from the picnic table. the camp host was kind and understanding. but we did not enjoy this campsite. if there is a way to move the picnic table further away from the outhouses it might help.

The campground is lovely. I love the opportunities to hike and kayak and swim. Most of the other guests were friendly, kind and considerate. There were a few that were loud after 10 - different group each night. The campground host was proactive and effective. I felt badly that she had to stay up late to keep inconsiderate people in line. Mostly it was wonderful. I will camp there again.
