Lake Connor Park

A great place to create family memories. Around 1600 sites in a state park like setting. All sites have power and water. About 1/3 have septic and rest have a grey water drain. There are plenty of bathhouses with toilets and showers. There are 3 clubhouses that can be rented as well as 2 pools and a tennis court. There are several playgrounds for the kids. Also a dog park. There are many events throughout the year including concerts and dances. There are several kids parties and adult event parties during the year.

I just caught my first fish (rainbow trout) since I was just a little kid. Played some poker with the neighbors. Saw 3 generations of geese hanging out.

My other half has had a spot here for 16 years. I've been coming to the park for about 11 years now. Being out on the lake or sitting around the firepit is the most relaxing for me. Seeing deer walking around is still surreal for me. There are members in this park that are making wonderful, unforgettable, priceless memories with their families. Nothing beats that. Stay off the toxic facebook pages - too many untruths and just enjoy your site. The park is making improvements all the time. It has come a long way over the years, despite the outside world. It really can be a refuge if you let it.

This is my happy place! Once you drive thru the gate of LCP it's just so calming. The staff and caregivers work really hard to make this a magical getaway place. Plenty of activities for all or if you just want relaxation this is the place to be.

I don't know if I would want to own a spot here, but I so enjoy visiting my friend that does have a spot. As long as you don't break any rules and are courteous to others around you, it's an awesome place to get away from the daily grind and just unwind!
