First time at Gillette and we loved it. Plenty of shade and well maintained campgrounds. The bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed all the different wildlife and birds. Will camp here again!

Beautiful Campground. Short walk to the lake, which had a swimming area and a dock for the kids to jump off.

Large campsites with lots of space between campers. Clean outhouses, trash bins, and plentiful potable water faucets. Very smiley and mellow camp host.

The campground is a nice, flat area. The lake isn't too far and is very pretty. The road is well maintained pavement and great for kids biking around. There is a nice hike to an overlook (sort of overgrown) that is nice to do. The sites are very tidy and the bathrooms were extremely clean. The camp host is friendly and does a great job taking care of the place. Nice tree cover for the most part and lots of area for the kids to explore. One downside is some of the sites are listed as "50 ft" for trailers and the turn radius for backing in with trees super close to the road can make it difficult for the inexperienced haulers.

Beautiful campground and easy walk to the lake for fishing and swimming. We reserved our spot another day Sunday so we could spend the day again and had the whole place to ourselves before leaving im the evening. The Beaver Lodge had ice and smore stuff but they ran out of worms! Can’t wait to go back.

Decent campsite, but it was pretty small and was lacking privacy. Granted it was memorial day weekend, I was surrounded by other campers, people riding by on four wheelers and dirt bikes, not the peaceful atmosphere I was looking for.
