Very clean campground. All campsites are well maintained and roomy. And the lake is beautiful!

Camping at Gillette campgrounds was very pleasant. No trouble with the reservation. The site was clean & quiet. Would stay there again.

Fantastic Campsite for our family of 5 and two dogs. The dedicated dog beach area was a huge bonus! Camp host was so kind and familiar with the area. Bathrooms were well maintained. Boat launch was convenient and easy to navigate. We will definitely be back!

Site was large and reasonably private. Vault toilets were clean and functional. There was a bit too much noise from motorcycles and diesel trucks hauling boats, starting even at 5:30AM. The hiking trails leading from the campground were not maintained and full of downed trees. This area is great for boaters and motor sport enthusiasts, less so for hikers and lovers of peaceful solitude. Still, nice campground, and I would return.

We actually ended up at Gillette campground which is 1/4 mi at most up the road from Lake Gillette campground. The sign for Lake Gillette was placed in location that was hard to see driving in so we missed it. And saw the sign for Gillette campground and assumed it was correct one! We set up in a site that was no reserved (our mistake) as the site we reserved had someone’s else’s name.. (once again at wrong campground which we were still unaware of this). Camp hoard finally returned and explained we were at wrong campground. Luckly we were able to stay as site we set up I was not reserved for weekend! make sure you are in correct camp ground. Crazy very similar named campgrounds are so close to each other. Just said this happens frequently. Gillette campground was great. Large sites, quiet when we were there, Clean vault bathrooms. We walked around Lake Gillette campgrounds. Sites looked a bit closer together. And a busier campground the weekend we were there

We love this little place including the dock. No flush toilets but enjoy all other aspects

General
- Bears and cougars frequent the area; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating.
- Limited parking available; please be aware that your vehicles must fit into the space allotted for your site.
- Your reserved site will be held until on the day after the scheduled arrival date. If you haven't occupied it at any time during this period, your reservation is null and void and will be given to first come first serve campers. Your reservation will be a no show and no refund will be given.
- There are no electric, water, or sewer site hook-ups at this facility.
- OHV use prohibited in the campground
- Food and wildlife attractants must be properly stored at all times
