What Guests Are Saying
West Sullivan is a beautiful and well-maintained campground, offering a peaceful atmosphere with clean facilities and stunning views. Camp hosts, particularly Diana, are praised for their helpfulness and friendliness, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. While some areas could use maintenance, such as the nature trail and parking, the serene beach, clear lake, and large, private campsites make it a worthwhile destination.

Lovely area with so much to do. Pit toilets were extremely clean. Only downside was neighbors running their generators all night long which made sleeping difficult.
Camp host was so friendly and great!

This is a beautiful small campground in a wooded setting. Clean and well maintained. Camp hosts on site. Sullivan Lake is clean and pristine. We love this gem.

Hosts were great. Site was spacious and still quite private. I think we'll always remember the military helicopter running exercises on the airstrip at 11:30pm.

We snagged a first come site on a Monday in July, it was the only one available, and I'm not surprised. This campground is clean and incredibly close to the water, which is crystal clear and cool but not cold. Ideal for swimming. Bears are a concern here so make use of the bear proof food storage bins and definitely don't keep any food in your tents. There is also an active air strip right next door which can be loud but not very frequent (we had one airplane and a helicopter during two days). Highly recommend this area if you have a family, the kids will love it!

What a beautiful lake. We had it to ourselves on Wednesday but the summer crowds arrived Thursday morning. The campground was impeccably clean and well cared for. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The hosts, Sue and her husband, were so kind and eager to help. All I can say is "Go Away", "Do not comer here" because I want it all
to myself!

Small loop was the best! Sunday - Wednesday is the best days. Large sites, had a couple deer walk thru. A nice stroll to the water. Left our kayaks at the beach the whole time we were there. Camp hosts were very friendly & helpful. Best part was the airport next door, small planes flying in & out all day! Oh and NO CELL SERVICE :) We will be visiting again!

Was still closed but drove around the lake. So beautiful. Don’t know why the campground was closed. Weather was perfect for camping

This is a beautiful, clean and clear lake with great camping spaces. A smaller campground, with large sites, separated by plenty of trees and undergrowth. The beach is fabulous. No hookups, but water is nearby. Makes for a more authentic camping experience plus the beach is wonderful. Our site was a little difficult to maneuver into as it was laid out a little wonky for backing a trailer in, but we made it! Sites can hold multiple tents as well.

Stopped by for a day pass on opening weekend, Memorial Day, and fell absolutely in love with the place! We had the pleasure of meeting the new campground host, Diana, and her assistant/mascot Marvin(see picture for his wonderful face) and could not be happier. They were some of the most welcoming camp hosts we've had the pleasure of meeting and can't wait to see them again. Absolutely welcoming, so sweet, and genuinely happy to be there. I wish them nothing but the best and hope they can continue to host for years to come.
The campground itself was absolutely stunning, breathtaking and clean as could be. We will be making this place a regular stop due to its peaceful nature, wonderful vibes and views. There were deer, fish, and birds a plenty. This is honestly the dream campground. Great spots, picnic tables and a lovely little beach to enjoy on warm days. Don't hesitate and come enjoy this place for yourself, you won't regret it, I guarantee that!
