What Guests Are Saying
West Sullivan is a beautiful and well-maintained campground, offering a peaceful atmosphere with clean facilities and stunning views. Camp hosts, particularly Diana, are praised for their helpfulness and friendliness, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. While some areas could use maintenance, such as the nature trail and parking, the serene beach, clear lake, and large, private campsites make it a worthwhile destination.

We held a youth church camp for 12 - 18 yr old girls with 4 sites and the Pavilion - we had the best time! Amazing location and Diana, the camp host was AMAZING. She was there anticipating anything we needed and she was so helpful in making sure the facilities were clean and pumped for our girls. We had some experiences we were planning for our girls and she helped me with the logistics based on the best times in the camp for quiet activities. This was a big deal in making our camp great! Thank you Diana! You made our camp everything we were hoping it would be! And of course the site is incredible.

Campsite was clean and raked. The ground was clear for tents. The fire pit was perfect for a fire. Just a short walk to the bathroom and just beyond was the beach! The lake was clear and great for refreshing yet chilly swim. Definitely worth the drive. Mill pond was close to explore and so was Gardner caves, a must see!

Some areas of the campground could use attention. Grading the parking areas after the updates would be nice. Otherwise camping at west Sullivan is a nice place to have small crowds at the beach during the week, ability to check out small planes coming in and taking off. The nature trail has not been maintained
