What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

We stayed three nights and really enjoyed our site. Most of the sites are very nice and all within easy walk to beach access. We lucked out with excellent weather. We did a day trip up to the Hoh River Rain Forest, and to Rialto Beach - lots to do in this region, including long walks on the beautiful beach right at the campground.
I very much appreciated that there is a dump station at this campground ($10).

We enjoyed our stay very much; our site was especially nice, away from the highway so we could listen to the ocean surf and a magnificent view a short walk away. The beach is fabulous, and we enjoyed beautiful weather. We also enjoyed walking through the rain forest nature trail.

Great campground and site on the coast. Site 39 was laid out nice and the bushes provided privacy from other sites. Site was big enough for one 3 person tent & one 1 person tent. Site parking is parallel to the road. There is a private trail behind the site that leads to an overlook of the beach. Bathrooms were updated and very clean.

Great campsite location, close to beach access and short walk from toilets. No soap in the restrooms.

Have been camping at Kalaloch for decades. I love the lush rain forest environment and the sight, sound and smell of the ocean always excites and relaxes at the same time. Camp sites are nice and restrooms and water outlets are fine. This time I availed myself to the breakfast buffet served at the lodge and the price was very comfortable. Due to extreme drought conditions could not have a campfire this time but that may never have happened before; it is the rain forest after all.

Beautiful location, campsite very good for tent camping, but bathrooms need an upgrade.

Had a great time, interesting trees and surprising how quiet with so many campers. Just wish that the water in men's restroom worked but I aim to stay again in the future.
