What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

Beautiful quiet campground at night. Right at the beach and you can hear the waves breaking.

Site A025 was a great campsite with an ocean view and a little bit of shade as well. The path down to the beach was just a few campsites down. The beach itself is fantastic, soft sandy beach, great for kids to run around. Short walk to the tree of life. Highly recommend this campground and this site specifically.

My partner and I had an amazing trip at Kalaloch! We were so grateful to have out dog with us and to be able to bring her to the beach. The campsite felt so tucked away in the dense trees, so we didn't feel like we were just surrounded by campsites on all sides. The sink in the bathroom nearest to us wasn't working which was a bummer, but certainly not the end of the world. We had our sanitation products to keep ourselves relatively clean. We will definitely be returning here someday soon hopefully!

I visited with two different camp hosts, first night was Dan and second night was Chris - both were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom at the north entrance of B & C rows was not in very good condition. One of the two stalls was out of order, there was no hand soap and the hand dryer did not work.
Many of the tent sites had concrete blocks preventing vehicles from angling into the site which made no sense. I have a tent that fits on the back hatch of my SUV and it cannot be used since the vehicle is blocked from the site. Why are the concrete blocks there? Example is site B1.

This is my favorite location and place I have visited for the past 60+ years. If I need to reset the mind and soul this is it.

Nice place, ocean was louder than a US-101 nearby, so being next to the road wasn't an issue. Would be nice to have a shower on the campground.
