What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

The campsite and campground was beautiful and clean. The bathrooms were disgusting.

We had a nice - and perhaps thankfully short - stay at Kalaloch Campground. The campground has nice facilities (clean bathrooms and even warm water running out of the taps). However, it is not a place to stay at if one were looking for peace and did not get one of the spots further from the road. I booked D002 aware of the potential of "traffic noise." But I underestimated the magnitude of traffic and noise. Site D002 is right next to day parking. I could see cars pointed right at the site and people walking by. That issue mainly went away at night. Traffic noise of cars were tolerable. What was alarming - and unexpected - was the noise of giant flat bed trucks carrying tons of logged trees speeding down the road. They start early - we heard them by sunrise. In short, Kalaloch is not the campground for you if you are seeking quiet and peace and the only sites available are along the 101.

Beautiful camp spot! Very large area in the back for a tent, and the parking spot was very large. You can see the neighbors to the left, so keep that in mind. Picnic table was very close to the parking spot, and the site itself was very spacious!

Beautiful campground! You are very close to the neighbors to the left, but there is a small pond to the right so it is very private that way. Camp fire ring and table were very nice and clean. The parking spot to this space does dip down a little when you pull in, but other than that is is pretty level.

Beautiful Beaches. Nice campground, clean restrooms. No shower. No cell service. No clear sky for starlink.

Visting Kalaloch on the Washington State Olympic Peninsula is always a great experience. The Park Service team maintaining the facilities are doing a great job.

It’s hard to beat a camp ground like this. Right next to the ocean, quiet, reasonably clean bathrooms. If you are itching for a meal, Kalaloch Lodge is 1/4 mi down the street and has great food plus a small convenience store. It would be great if the campground had showers, but we used the Forks Swim Club and Gym day pass option for a quick clean up. Our couple of days here was great (spot E010 - and if you reserve this spot be sure to walk through the bush trail at the back of the site for a private view of the beach!)

One of my favorite places. Hard to get reservations, but if you are flexible and time it right Kalaloch is a place most would enjoy. I like the variety of what each beach along the way from Beach 1 to Ruby Beach has to offer.

A66 is to close to the highway. Waked up a few times in the midnight by passing cars. Others were good
