What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

What an amazing campground and view of the ocean. We did the ranger lead program on the tide pools at Beach 4 and it was amazing!!!!!

Camping at Kalaloch is a one-of-a-kind experience that should not be missed! It's just a short walk to the beach from any campsite, and there's no better way to fall asleep than listening to the soothing sound of the waves. We drove a few minutes to Beach 4 for an amazing tide pooling experience in the morning and just a few more minutes to Ruby Beach in the evening to see a gorgeous sunset.

Kalaloch is an excellent place to camp, that why it’s always full. Being lulled to sleep by the surf is bliss.

Perfect location to explore the beaches, Lake Quinault area, and the Hoh Rainforest. Sunset on the beach right by the campground is stunning and not to be missed! We had a spot "near the highway" but honestly barely noticed it. Wonderful stay, highly receommend!

Site was great, close to the beach and next to the path to the ocean. A short walk to the bathroom. Plenty of space for the tent. Would recommend this site and campground

It’s hard to get a reservation, but be persistent. If you can move to a new site each night, try arriving early afternoon and ask about cancellations.

Fairly quiet despite being close to the highway. Lovely, lush mossy setting. Close walk to beach and bathroom (however water fill station was broken and needed to drive to the other station across the campground.)

Maintenance of the campground has slipped in the last year. Fire rings are broken and bathroom appliances need repair. Bathroom cleaning is less frequent. I can’t help wondering if DC projects have diverted funds from NPS budgets.
