What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

Best campground ever! The tent area is like a little nook and has nice privacy and covering from the wind. There is also a trail path that leads to the creak, a wooden pathway and then the beach!! The restrooms are close by too!

Beautiful campground and park. We were able to move away from a gas generator running, seemingly during all non-quiet hours.

You can’t see beach from the A22, Washrooms are clean but no toilet paper, no mobile network. It’s too cold and windy at night prepare accordingly.

The campsites on loop A are noisy due to Highway 101. I tried to get reservations 6 months in advance and chose better campsites closer to the beach. I logged on before 7AM when the new sites were released and checked availability the night before. I still could not get the sites I wanted. They were already taken when I tried to get them at 7AM 6 months in advance and the only ones available were on A loop with "highway noise".

I stayed at D12 for two nights and it is too close to 101, the highway is too loud during the night. Earplugs helped a little

Our site ended up near 101 so it was very loud unfortunately which made our experience not great. There was also only one working toilet out of 2 in the nearby restroom and because the toilet was broken, the sink right outside to wash dishes was also not supposed to be used. Overall, I much prefer Oregon coast campsites. Will pass on this spot next time.
