What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

Excellent location. Our spot was a bit small.

The campsite is beautiful and so is the beach. It was so fun being so close to the beach and exploring at night! The lodge staff was beyond exceptional. My car battery died and they were extremely kind and helpful getting it up and running again. I was so stressed and Cole, who helped start it, was so kind and patient.

D032 was perfect for car camping. It’s near a bathroom in a busier area, facing the beach. The trees offer a bit of privacy although, not much. It was a very short walk to the tree of life and the views at sunset were phenomenal. I loved it.

Pretty loud but hard to avoid with the amount of campsites. Bathrooms weren't as clean as other sites in the park. Litter present at our site (candy wrappers, disposable utensils) However, the scenery was beautiful and it was overall a nice site.

E2 does not have a flat spot for a tent

We had reservations at two different campsites at peak season (was lucky to find anything online) and they were able to switch so they were closer to each other at 3:30, when they release cancelled reservations. The staff were very helpful. It is a beautiful location with easy access to the beach.

Nice campground on the beach. You can hear the waves crashing all night. Highway 101 is nearby but could barely hear it.
Site was in the smaller side and very near to neighboring site. It was also not fully level, although it was okay in the tent. Bathroom and water was nearby

The general lack of maintenance and disrepair is particularly disappointing in such a beautiful natural setting.

Beautiful site and campground. The beach is easy to get to, and the other campers respected quiet hours. Camp host was terrific, and ranger presentations were excellent.
