What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

Beautiful! Had a good amount of space to set up our tent in this site.

Nice view of the ocean since space across from us was X. No blockage of the ocean view.
Starlink worked perfectly here.
We got lucky scoring this site.

We love being so close to the ocean and walking on the beach every day. Lots of people camp in tents like we do and many spots have privacy.

Place is incredible. Want one of the ocean front sites some time.
Only negative was my site was very downhill and I had a really hard time getting the trailer off and then again on the ball

I am a 3rd generation Kalaloch camper and I bring my kids here every summer. Kalaloch is my happy place and I love it unconditionally. Great ranger programs, and fingers crossed we don't lose many more bluff sites to erosion!

Great access to the beach and not far (30- 60 minutes) from Lake Quinalt, Hoh Rain Forest, Ruby Beach, Forks, La Push, 2nd Beach, Rialto, etc.
Campground is typical of a National Campground...descent condition.
The camping area is heavily wooded and therefor dark. Not nessecarily an issue but feels a bit like Mirkwood. :-)
We'll be back.

We love Kalaloch! This was year 33 camping there in August. Unfortunately 2 of the bathrooms near us didn’t have working sinks in the bathroom or the outdoor filling station.

Klalaloch is a beautiful campground with really nice sites that feel private. Some sites have beach views, while others are tucked away in the forest. I would avoid staying in a site along the 101 as traffic will be noisy. We had a site (A9) tucked into the trees with privacy and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. Lots of points to get down to access the beach. The bathrooms were a bit messy and one of the toilets was out of order, as was the water/wash station in the A loop, which meant we had to walk over to the B loop to rinse our dishes or get water. There are no showers and no cell service. Even with a few cons, I would recommend this campground and would stay again.
