What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

D2 is a super big camp site with great hammocking trees. It is close to the daily parking lot so you can see people come and go thru the trees. It’s super shaded so if it’s not a hot day it will be chilly. We got pretty cold and had to find the sun throughout the day.
Short walk to the bathrooms. Some sites at 2 bars of cell service for tmoblie but this site is not one of them. Beautiful site tho

The sites with ocean view are truly superb; the views are stunning. You only hear the sound of the ocean, so you don't even hear the (busy) road nearby. It's very easy to get to the beach and enjoy it even closer. Not all buildings with the toilets were open, though, so we had to walk quite far. But doing that with those ocean views was no problem at all. The RV dumping station was also very nice.

Kalaloch is such a beautiful campground! Lovely sites both on the bluff facing the ocean, and also tucked back into the quiet forest. I was lucky to have bluff sites both nights. Loved visiting with the Tree of Life, enjoying the ocean, the cute little camp stage, the kind and helpful staff, and the nice bathroom amenities. I hope to get back soon!!

Campground was packed, not a single empty spot. Understandable with the holiday weekend, but with closed bathrooms because of busted pipes it was not. There was one toilet with lines…
Beautiful place for nature, but the facilities were old and worn down and in desperate need of repair. The stairs down to the beach were absolutely hazardous and I’m genuinely surprised nobody was hurt..
I will not be back till some repairs have been completed

The sunset here is worth the reservation. Especially if you get a spot with a beach view. Camp area and bathroom was clean. I usually prefer off grid camping but actually had quiet respectful neighbors and met nice people visiting from all over. This was my second time here this year.
