What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

We had a great one night stay at Kalaloch. Great location in D005 camp sites close to the restrooms as well as the beach access down to the Tree of Life. Camp site and restrooms were clean and whole campground was very quiet overall for our stay on 9/6. Beautiful trees and scenary everywhere you look. These sites are close to 101 but there were no logging trucks running and minimal traffic was barely noticeable. We had a couple adjacent sites (D004 & D007) which made it feel even more secluded. Would definitely stay here again.

We love to camp at the Kalaloch campground. We have been camping there for many years every Labor Day weekend. It’s a beautiful area! The only thing that kept us from a five star review this year was the bathroom situation. Toilet and water stations out of order was inconvenient and disappointing, but we had a nice time anyway. Hopefully the toilets will all be working next year!

Lovely campsite; we were quite cozy. Gorgeous views of the beach and sunset from the western edge of the campground, too. The only downside was the lack of soap in the bathrooms, and the men's room smelled awful. There was also an overly familiar squirrel who tried to shake us down for snacks, but at least she was cute. Overall, a wonderful stay; we look forward to going here again!

Excellent campground and received the full NW Pacific camping experience where it rained all night long. While I couldn’t sleep most of the night from the sound of raindrop constantly hitting my tent, I could think of worse places to not be able to sleep than Olympic Nat’l Park. I will definitely allot more time next visit to be able to explore the park in more detail.

Amazing location for my daughter and I to do Astrophotography on the beach! Once the sun set, the stars were out and we captured some amazing pictures of the night sky and Milky Way Galaxy.

Beautiful campground and beaches. Very popular so hard to get spots in the popular season.

As always the beach at Kalaloch is a great place to run and swim. When you add in the other near by beaches like Ruby Beach it is a great place to take the whole family.
